3D Eyebrow

If you are forever drawing on your eyebrows or you want to save makeup prep time, you also want to look great 24 hours a day, then 3D cosmetic eyebrow embroidery is your answer. Long gone are the days of dodgy 1980’s cosmetic tattooing. Welcome to the new era of 3D cosmetic eyebrow embroidery, the new semi permanent makeup technology that can give you that natural stylish look you’re after. What’s more, is the amount of time you will save re-drawing your eyebrows.

What is 3D cosmetic eyebrow embroidery anyway?

3D cosmetic eyebrow embroidery is a semi permanent technique using colour pigment drawn onto the skin giving you natural looking eyebrows. The technique used is natural feathering of hair like strokes creating a beautifully designed pair of eyebrows.

Is this the same as an eyebrow “tattoo”?

No. Far from it. The work involved with eyebrow embroidery is only performed on the skin surface. Thus, making eyebrow embroidery a MUCH SAFER treatment than eyebrow tattoos. The colour can also be adjusted in alignment with the original eyebrow hair colour, which results to a realistic look and feel. Eyebrow embroidery creates the background and fills in the parts of the eyebrows that looked empty so that a full and complete look is accomplished. The “3D” effect gives it an added realism to the end result.
Unlike an eyebrow tattoo, 3D eyebrow embroidery does not leave a flat, dull and fake look that tattoos leave behind.

So what is involved?

Firstly our 3D cosmetic eyebrow embroidery expert will pencil and outline on our brows to a shape that is to your liking. A full consultation to determine the colour and style that suits your needs takes place, then a brow tidy up will follow and anesthetic cream will be applied to the area to minimise your discomfort. Your pigment colour will then be applied to your skin finishing off with a soothing lotion to help with your healing process.

Who can benefit from such a treatment?

Persons who:

  • Have over-plucked their eyebrow hair

  • Have gaps or scars where the hair has not grown back

  • Are suffering from Alopecia (hair loss), weak or light hair

  • Want a particular shape for their eyebrows

Is it safe?

Absolutely. Use of disposable needles and sterilisation of equipment as required.

How many treatments do I require?

In most cases, only the initial treatment, followed by one or two top-up treatments.
Also, if you have a build up of dead skin cells this may inhibit the pigment taking to your skin, so it is recommended that you exfoliate the area regularly

Very Important

IMPORTANT: How you take care of your new 3D Embroidery Brows over the next 7 days will ultimately determine it’s healing, colour retention, final appearance and longevity.

Apply coconut oil to the brow area where it was tattooed every 2 hours for the full 7 days. Do not allow your brows to become completely dry or feel tight.

The swelling can be managed with soft gel ice packs. Place chilled gel packs (in refrigerator only) in plastic baggies before applying to protect the tattooed area from any moisture contact.

As the skin starts the natural healing process you may experience some flaking and/or scabbing. Picking or peeling any flakes or scabs can cause loss of implanted pigment and scarring. Refrain from touching tattooed area except when applying coconut oil or grape seed oil. Some pigment may rub off- take precautions to protect good linens and towels.
Pools, jacuzzis, tanning, excess sweating, facials and saunas should also be avoided for a period of at least 10 days or until tattooed area is fully healed. Skin creams and products containing Retin-A, AHA or any kind of skin peel must not be used directly on the tattooed area as they will fade and possible distort the tattoo. Sun block should always be applied over tattoos When washing your face refrain from using soaps and creams on the tattooed areas for the heal
time specified (next day). When showering or bathing apply a thick layer of coconut oil and DO NOT PICK FLAKING OR SCABBING

(SPF 60 recommended). avoid putting your face directly in the shower head stream.

The colour immediately after tattooing will appear very sharp and dark but will soften and fade considerably as the healing process concludes. The final appearance of the tattooed area should not be considered for at least 6-8 weeks after the final visit.

You may need to reshape or augment an area and is not usually done until after the 4 week period. A touch-up appointment is crucial usually with the 3D Embroidery Brow procedure and is preferable over a less that conservative initial procedure. Less is definitely more when it comes to 3D Embroidery Brows. This is a custom build brow and may take up to 3 times to ensure the pigment in the skin and achieving your final desired brow look.
